Provides direction for the
industry by studying new technology and reporting
operating experience of electric metering equipment and
the introduction of service entrance conductors into
customer facilities. The Committee maintains
representation on ANSI, EPRI, UL, and industry committees
to promote metering standardization and research. AEIC's
Meter and Service Committee conducts a Joint National
Metering Conference with EEI Metering Committee twice a
year.
